In light of the recent coronavirus outbreak, we hope you are currently well and also protecting yourselves against infection and/or spread of coronavirus infection. As your healthcare providers, we are especially interested in your health and also in protecting patients visiting our office over the next several weeks, when the risk of infection is highest. Therefore, we would like to provide some information to you and also inform you of some changes in our routine office practices.
1. Our office will be open for well patient visits and certain types of urgent visits. If you have an appointment and you have no symptoms of infection (fever, cough, muscle pain, runny nose, sneezing or congestion), you are welcome to come in for your scheduled appointment. Our office staff will be calling to confirm that you still want to keep your appointment. If you want to postpone your scheduled appointment, even if you feel well, we respect your right to exercise that option and encourage you to do so. If you have any infectious symptoms, please be respectful of our other patients and our staff. We request that you telephone our office ahead of time to determine whether it would be best to keep your appointment or to postpone it. We will certainly provide healthcare decisions that are in your best interest as our patients, understanding that we need to limit risk of exposure to everyone in our practice.
2. Per our routine office protocol, we will be reviewing laboratory and diagnostic testing as it is resulted. Our office will certainly contact you if any results need to be reviewed with you or if any additional testing is indicated. 3.
